I just got a new Mac and want to move my virtual machine from my old Mac. Using Migration Assistant on the MAc didn't work, so I installed a clean copy of Parallels on the new machine. I can't seem to find how to get my old virtual disk (I'm assuming that's the *.hdd file) over to the new machine and open. I tried to copy the .hdd file but it comes up greyed out on the new machine, so I can't import it. What should I be doing?

    Hello,

You need to copy the .pvm file which will be located at Mac HD -> users -> documents -> parallels -> .pvm to an external drive and copy this file to the new mac in Parallels to the same location.
