    Hi Everyone,

My biggest complaint is that Parallels takes my available ram down to about 30MB no matter what. I have a MacBook Pro 17" with 3gb of ram. You would think this would be more than enough. My entire machine will slow down by 50% when Parallels is running. I noticed that wired memory goes to over a gig and inactive will hover just under a gig. This is with nothing else running. I have tried all sorts of combinations of memory settings. The XP SP2 VM is set for 1300MB and Parallels itself is set for 1500MB. The only way to get my memory back is to close Parallels. It never releases.

Does anyone else see this sort of similar behavior on a similarly configured Mac? I would really love to solve this issue so I can actually use Parallels.

I am currently trying to use build 3036.

One additional comment. As you can imagine, this causes pageouts in OS X which kills performance.
