    Hi,

Im new to box osx and parallels, so apologies if the question is obvious.

I have XP installed under parallels, and am trying to use Roxio Creator. All the video functions attempt to verify the video performance, but return the error 'Your videocard diagnosis failed. unable to start application'

I am presuming this is because Parallels video driver is not compatible. Can Parallels support other standard video drivers to enable this to work?

    Thanks
    Pat

    Hello Pat,

What Parallels Desktop build are you using? Here is how to check.

    Best regards,
    Xenos

    Roxio Video Driver

I would also like to get this information. Trying to run Roxio Creator 9 and getting an error
on advanced DVD creation (Video Driver doesn't fully support DirectX 9.0, update Driver).

Platform iMAC 3.06 Intel Core 2
    MAC OS 10.5.7
    Parallel 4.0 Build 4.0.3844 (May 5, 2009)
Guest OS: Windows Home Basic w/ SP1
dxdiag says I'm running DirectX 10.0

When I first loaded Roxio, I got some errors on start up saying some start programs were
not executed. I turned off User Account and trying to go in and re-classify the Parallel Tools
to be permitted on start up. Haven't figured out how to do that just yet.

    Thanks, Steve
