Parallels tools installation EVERY TIME!

every time i enter windows, either through parallels or boot camp, it starts the parallels tools installation wizard and trys to install the software again and again.

I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it doesnt help.
is it soemthing to parallels using an autorun file?

please help cause its very annoying

I have the same problem.

I am always told on start-up that Parallels Tools are not installed. When I when I click on "Reinstall Parallels Tools" in the Virtual Machine menu, the program goes through the process apparently normally, but it requires a reboot, and on rebooting, I am told again that the Tools are not installed: an endless loop.

 

I have attempted to use Windows Add/Remove program but when I try to remove the installed Parallels I get "Fatal Error during installation".
