Will that combination work? I'm not anxious to upgrade to Parallels 4 because I use Windows 2000 Pro which I've heard is problematic (and not supported) by Parallels 4. I'm also not excited about moving everything to a larger Windows XP VM.
Looks like I'll just find out myself in a week. I sure would have thought somebody would have known already.
Now that Snow Leopard has actually shipped and there is documentation that Parallels 3.0 will NOT run under Snow Leopard, one question remains: Will Parallels be providing a patch or an update to make Parallels 3.0 run under Snow Leopard? The alternative question is will VirtualBox run under Snow Leopard? I have Windows 2000 running just fine under Parallels 3.0 and no need or desire to upgrade either one. But I will be upgrading to Snow Leopard.
Can confirm PD3 won't open in Snow Leopard. VirtualBox opened a Windows 7 VM fine for me in Snow Leopard. Pity VirtualBox doesn't appear to import Parallel's VM's. Salamat
importing p3 vm in virtualbox I found a link where they describe the migration of a p3 vm into virtual box http://www.xyhd.tv/2008/12/technical/how-to-migrate-from-parallels-to-virtualbox/ when they not come with an official statement according to p3 I will migrate to virtualbox
