I'm brand new to Parallels, and I'm sure this is just something stupid that I'm doing wrong, but maybe someone could enlighten me. I'm running Ubantu as a guest OS using Parallels on my Mac. When I go to full screen mode, the Parallels Desktop indeed expand to cover my entire screen. But the Ubantu virtual screen remains the same size as before, and nothing I''m doing seems to be able to expand it. thanks!
I have the same problem, using Ubuntu 8.04. Before installing Parallels Tools, Ubuntu found the correct screen resolution so full screen was fine. But with Parallels Tools installed, the maximum resolution of my screen is no longer available so full screen doesn't cover the whole screen. Any ideas?
full screen and parallels tools I fiddled with configuration until I did get full screen. But, I don't have parallels tools installed, because it won't install with Ubuntu 9 yet.
