Since upgrading to 4.0 i got an error in printer monitor "open raster file failed" with the first printing job after starting parallels desktop/winxp printer: brother hl-1430 after deleting the failed job in the printer monitor, the next sent printing job from parallels works. strange behaviour. i had no printing problems with 3.0. as default printer in winxp i use "HP Color LaserJet 8500PS".
Open Raster File Failed I'm having the same problem (Brother HL-2070N). First job fails with the message "Open Raster File Failed", second and further jobs hang around 35%. Parallels build version is 4.0.3844. It works fine if I set up the printer directly in the Windows XP guest OS rather than bridging it via Parallels (it's a network printer).
I'm having the same problem, but the "Open Raster File Failed" message returns with each attempted print action. I'm using a Brother MFC-6490CW. It is a network printer. Prints fine on the Mac side and from several different Mac computers, but not from Parallels. I'd love some help on this one.
