So, I spend $29 for Snow Leopard, and that compels me to spend $39 for Parallels upgrade? You must be joking! Update 3.0 to work with SL! BTW, that is called 'support'.

    Otherwise, bye-bye Parallels.
For $39 or $0, I can get one of your competitors' products.

(I don't use Windows enough to pay you $39/year just so you will have a revenue stream.)

    You -are- a version behind.

I find it odd that you would expect SW that's a year+ old, to be upgraded for free, to work with a significant OS release on the host computer.

I also find it odd that you hold Parallels to a higher standard, than what you got out of Apple for a few quid.

Apple and MS both provide updates to older versions, unlike Parallels.

Parallels 3 has so many issues. 4 is a much better program anyway so I don't see what your deal is.

Either hold out for Parallels 5, go to VirtualBox which is feature lacking, or go to another product that has the same upgrade path as Parallels.

    And updates cost money.

Bug fixes and patches, which Parallels also offers, just like MS and Apple, are free.

YOU are on 3.0. Retooling 3.0 for 10.6 is not a bug fix, or a patch. Starting to see this in RGB yet?

4.0 is the current version, 5.0 is about to come out.

Dont tell us how hard it is to own a high $ mac (compared to a bare bones PC) and that sitting nearly 2 major versions back, and not getting "supported" into a major update that you were happy to pay for from Apple, is somehow parallels fault for not overhauling code that you have to agree, is nearly two MAJOR versions back.
