Under Parallels 3.0, the app would should down when closing the guest OS. This does not seem to work under 4.0. Any ideas or thoughts? I would like Parallels to close entirely when I close (shut down) my windows vm. Thanks, Pierre
Hello, Please click on the link below and read the instructions that will help you quit the app when you close the VM http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v4/docs/en/Parallels_Desktop_Users_Guide/26728.htm
Hello, That article does NOT answer the question. None of the options offered by the software allows to exit the Parallels application when the last running VM has been shutdown, stopped or put to sleep. That is what the original poster asked for, that is what a good number of other users asked for and that is something Parallels version 3 did well and Parallels version 4 doesn't. I hope Parallels 5 will support that.
So Parallels 4 will not shutdown completely on exit? I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out to find that a backward step was taken between versions 3 and 4? This thread seems to have just died so I am just making sure. Thanks!
