    Hello-

Ever since we downloaded the most recent update for Parallels Desktop 4, we have been running into problems with network connectivity on the Windows side. It will work for a day and then require the next couple to go through troubleshooting, up until the point that you want to uninstall and give up, then it works again. Are there any suggestions or ideas on how I can fix this problem? Many of my teachers and administrators are starting to question why I pushed the purchase of Parallels if we can't operate within it properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are there any things that trigger the situation?

Please send a problem report (Help -> Report a Problem) next time when you will have the problem and post here its ID

Also, when this problem will appear next time, start the /Application/Utilities/Terminal and post me via private message (or, if there is no anything private in the output - usually there is not - just to this thread) the output of command "sudo scutil --dns" (without quotes, will ask for the password).

Since most of the time networking works, I suspect that it is a problem with incorrect DNS entry and fails of Parallels Desktop 4.0 Shared Networking to detect this invalid entry.. please, after collecting output in previous two steps, execute in the terminal "sudo killall -HUP prl_naptd". This may fix the problem

This sudo killall -HUP prl_naptd didn't do anything.

Hm... looking at the problem report..
does the internet really dones't work? Or it is just Windows7 displays a message that "No internet access"?

If internet works, then it is slightly better story..

If it doesn't then could you please next time when this problem will be met click Start -> cmd.exe, execute in the appeared window command "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) and without closing the window post one more problem report and reply with its ID?
