Anyone have any luck? I can not get it to recognize the CD Rom drive after the install (on a 17" MBP C2D). The Tools will not install either. If you have tips/answers, please share. Thanks, Jason
Try to boot with real device or with image connected. I've just tried it all works. Definitely there is an error into Parallels when booting without image connected.
jasononaharley,an image doesn't a matter. There is only 4 combinations: 1. image doesn't connected at startup, 2 an image connected at startup, 3 real drive connected at startup, 4 real drive connected at startup without media inserted. When you boot into windows, you even can't see CDROM drive into "My Computer", is it right? To found CDROM drive into windows, please, connect an valid image at startup (vmtools.iso for example) and boot your Win98. Please, let me know if it won't work.
