    Hi,

I just installed Parallels 4.0, with a guest-os of Vista Home Basic.

I changed my settings to share folders between the Mac and the guest-os. I specified the two folders I want to share, and they both show up correctly in Vista as a mapped drive.

However, I have several external drives connected to my Mac, and they are showing up as well. These drives are connected via USB. They also show up in Vista as mapped drives. I've disconnected them, but next time I restart the guest-os they reappear.

How can I set up Parallels to NOT map these external drives?

    Thank You

What you see is a special SmartMount feature.
You just need to disable it.
