Upgrade to Snow Leopard or PD5 first?

I have the disc to upgrade my Mac Pro to Snow Leopard (from Leopard). I'm considering getting PD5 as well. I'm wondering which upgrade order is least risky: OSX first (Leopard/PD4 -> Snow Leopard/PD4 -> Snow Leopard/PD5), or the other way around (Leopard/PD4 -> Leopard/PD5 -> Snow Leopard/PD5).

Last go-around, I upgraded Tiger to Leopard under PD3 first and had all manner of trouble.

Anybody gone through it one way or the other? Tips to share? TIA.

PD4 works fine under Snow Leopard, so there is no reason not to do the Snow Leopard upgrade first.

Good to know. Did you install PD4 under Snow Leopard from scratch, or did you upgrade it from PD3? The reason I ask is that Tiger/PD3 worked just fine. It was only after the upgrade that things fell apart.

I upgraded to PD4 from PD3 a few days before upgrading to Snow Leopard. I used a trial copy of PD4 and Fusion 2 to evaluate which upgrade worked better and decided on PD4.
