Today I upgrade to Parallels Desktop 5 and I got a bad surprise: I can't run my Windows XP Pro Virtual Machine.

Starting my XP VM I got a blue scree with error STP: 0x000000E1
Also starting in safe mode doesn't resolve the problem and I got a blue screen and XP don't start.

There is some problem in this last upgrade so I had to remove Parallels Desktop 5 and downgrade to Parallels Desktop 4.

I'm very disappointed from Parallels the last upgrade 3->4 cause many problem in converting VM and I had to reinstall windows now I can't boot at all my VM.

    I had the same problem

    and got the same screen.

Virtual machine from Parallels 4 shows up and when I launch it, it crashes with the same message. I cannot even boot it in safe mode.

Identical here, and identical when I upgraded from 3 to 4 - Really poor. Unable to use my installation now and desperately need to.
