Hello When i start my virtual machine with windows my harddrive gives me that same sound as when i start my mac. shuld it do that? or is it a sign of HDD failure?
I think what you are referring to is the sound the CD-ROM drive makes when you power on certain MacBook Pros (maybe others too). If the VM is configured to grab the CD-ROM on boot, it will make the noise again. It isn't your hard drive.
