I've just upgraded to Parallels 5 from 4, running a MacBook Pro and Windows XP. For some reason, when I right-click on the icon when in Crystal mode, I'm not getting the Windows StartMenu - any thoughts?
Just to add, when in coherence mode, when I hit the start menu icon in the dock, the start menu does not open either. not even using the Win key will do it.
Hello, Steve, could you please try to left-click on the Crystal mode icon and choose "Windows Start Menu" from the menu appeared. Would it show Windows XP start menu? Thanks and regards, Ivan
Hi Ivan. I had tried that to no avail, but I have solved my problem - it was my own fault: I had previously adjusted the Windows registry to disable to the left Apple (Win) key because I got sick of the start menu being invoked every time I APPLE+TAB to another app. I reset the registry setting and voila it's all good now. Sorry to have bothered you and I am loving version 5 with no problems
