Hi, installed and authenticated XP in Parallels Desktop 5.

Win7-Parallels Desktop screen showed "SCSI controller is not installed. No boot device is available, press Enter to continue" did not correct the error.

Retry message that "There is no operating system installed in this virtual machine. Please insert an os installation CD ... and restart vm" did not correct the error.

    SCSI driver issue?

Thank you in advance for our time.

    Regards,
    Jim

Hello, the Win 7 reinstall doc starts with '1. Your Win 7 Ultimate DVD or CD's', so I assume that by buying and installing this media that I can reinstall XP in Parallels 5 to work MS Office. Right?

Thank you in advance for your time.

    Regards,
    Jim

Win 7 Setup in Parallels 5

    Hello,

Setup failed to Finalize Installation, the last of 5 steps in MS Windows XP Step screen.

After completing Preparing Installation, Setup stopped at Installing Windows.

    Next step?

Thank you in advance for hour time.

    Regards,

    Jim
