Parallels 3120 quits unexpectedly every time when switch to FULL screen

I just downloaded it 3 days ago and now every time I go full screen, Parallels will just quit unexpectedly. I then get an error from OS X, telling me that the application just quit unexpectedly.

Has anyone seen this? I was able to go full screen before with no problem. And yes, I did uninstalled my existing Parallels tools and install the latest with build 3120.

I thought maybe it is a memory leak problem, but after several restart OS X and Parallels (shutting down XP) etc... I am getting this problem every time I go full screen.

    Very strange. Please advice anyone.

Oh, I am running 3120 on an iMac 24 inch 2.16Ghz (Core 2 Duo) bla bla...

    Thanks

Please post the text of the error you get from OSX - it contains some useful information.

    Best regards,
    Tim

    Tim,

The error message from OS X is just a standard message box saying that the application quits unexpectedly and gave the options to reopen the app and OK button to close the dialog.

    Is this good enough?

I have a similar problem relating to going full-screen, so I'll post it here rather than start another thread. Hope that's OK. My problem is that I have desktop icons in Windows arranged on the screen assuming it's a Full screen. When Parallels starts, it's always in a small window taking up only a quarter of my Mac OS screen. The icons get rearranged to fit in that smaller window. Then when I go full screen for Windows, those icons are in the smaller quarter-screen space.

Is it possible to have full screen be the default for Parallels? If this has been addressed elsewhere, please point me to the thread. I searched and didn't find it.

    Thanks!

I'm having a similar problem. I just installed Parallels for first time from CD, then immediately upgraded to current beta. Full screen mode was working fine IF using my 21" Apple Display monitor. But when I disconnected monitor and tried it in my new Macbook (black duo2core), it just quits when switching to full screen mode. It opens fine in window mode.

    Any advice appreciated- thanks.

    Addendum

So... after rebooting the mac, all is now better. Full screen mode does work. The animation of opening to full screen is not smooth.... the screen looks terrible and then stayed in that poor look (everything just looking messed up on the screen). However, I was able to switch to window mode, and then back to full screen, and it looked fine after that. FYI, using a Macbook with 2 gb of ram.
