Switching Macs

In a few weeks I'll be switching to a new iMac, and moving all my apps and user data over. The question that puzzles me is how to move the Parallels application. I started with Parallels 2.5, upgraded to 3 and finally upgraded to Parallels 4.

On the new MAC, do I have start by installing Parallels 2.5 with my original activation and then reapply the upgrades? I believe Parallels 2.5 doesn't run under OSX 10.6.2, I'm not even sure the install will work.

Or can I start with the Parallels 4 upgrade and reuse my original activation code?

(I will, of course wipe Parallels from the old Mac - I clearly understand that I didn't pay for and am not entitled to run Parallels on two different machines)
