Using the number pad in Parallels?

I am running Parallels 5 and have installed Windows 7 (64 bit) on a MacPro 2.26 8-core early 2009 using the wired keyboard that ships with the Mac. I can't find any information in the user guide about how to activate my number pad. This keyboard doesn't have a number lock key, and I cannot figure out how to do so.

It drives me crazy when I realize I've just keyed in a bunch of numbers that don't go anywhere. This keyboard has F-keys to F19, but I couldn't get any of them to lock numbers.

Hopefully someone here knows the answer.
