A recent Ubuntu 9.04 update went out which included the Linux 2.6.28-16 kernel. Parallels Tools does not appear to work properly any more with that kernel. Mouse integration is broken and so is the network driver. No communication to the net. Going back to the 2.6.28-15 kernel works. Is Parallels 4.x Desktop for Win/Linux going to be updated soon with a version of Tools that works with the new kernel?

just do a reinstall of parallels tools and choose UPGRADE

Had the same problem under Parallels server. Support confirmed this problem and suggested an upgrade reinstall of Parallels tools. It worked.

I tried that upgrade install, but it fails. I get a message that says:

An error occurred when downloading required components for Parallels Tools installation.
    - kernel sources
Install these components and try again.

I'd like to, only problem is I'm not sure how to go about installing the missing components.
