    I am a first time P5 user.
I have been using P5 straight with my XP SP2 install no problems, but my kids wanted more speed for some of the games.

So I created a new bootcamp install XP SP2 and its solved their issues.
I then attempted to get P5 to use the same bootcamp install.

When I first try to open the install, P5 advises "Please wait while the virtual machine is being configured..."
The progress bar moves about one quarter of the way, and then does not progress any more. After one hour I gave up.

I am using a new iMac i5 and the XP SP2 install is on a 32gb partition.
The P5 VM gets to about 1.34gb in size and stops growing - is it creating its own copy of the bootcamp?
How log is it supposed to take?
    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks.

After searching more posts I found the answer - my description here is the simple version where many others actually report the Windows actual error code.

I have renamed the appleMNT.sys in the bootcamp windows/system32/drivers folder and both bootcamp and P5 are now happily playing together.
Bootcamps new version seems incompatible with P5.
