What I'd like is to be able to access my local network. For instance, on the Mac, if I type: http://localhost/~user/ I can access html or PHP files stored locally being served by Mac OS's apache.

If I type http://localhost or http://localhost/~user it does't work in Parallels' Windows.

Is that possible? If it is, how?

    I'm talking about Parallels 5.

    Many thanks

    Hi WagnerM,
in Windows VM, you should add IIS (Internet Information Services) from Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components. Make sure to use Bridged Networking in virtual machine.

    Hi I-che,

    Thanks for your reply.

I've downloaded IIS from Microsoft's website as I couldn't find it in control panel>add or remove programs>add/remove windows components. I've set the network as Bridged Airport. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks again.
    Wagner
