    Hi there,

Couldn't really find an answer to this but I want to have the option of either windows or osx to boot when I turn my computer on?

I have already been using parallel alongside osx but now I want to change it so I have that option.

    Can anyone help?

Also, sorry if this answer is already posted somewhere else.

Try booting the Mac while holding the 'Alt' ('Opt' on some keyboards) key

PS: I've deleted my previous answer, because I can't guarantee that it was simple and safe

Thanks for that. It brings up the boot menu but it doesn't give me windows as an option to boot?

Strange. I have not experimented much with that. May be somebody besides me will reply.

Ok well when using the hold option key down it brings up windows, but when I select windows it comes up with black screen and all it says is "Non-system drive (i think) Press any key to reboot" but no key will actually reboot it.....

I will ask, as you've not actually said....

You do have Windows installed in Bootcamp? (Not just running in a VM)
