I was running Firefox as my Mac OS default browser, and had things working so that clicking on a link in the Windows VM would open in Firefox on the Mac. It was working perfectly. Then I installed Google Chrome and made it my default Mac OS browser. Every time I clicked a link in the Windows VM, Firefox would open back up on the Mac! I actually removed Firefox from the Mac to try to force the issue, and now links will not open at all! I cannot get links from the Windows VM to open in either Safari on the Mac or in Google Chrome. I had to put Firefox back on the Mac to get links to open from the Windows VM at all. What can be causing this? Thanks. Danita
So, after a few reboots of both the Windows VM and the Mac, I'm no longer getting Firefox as the default from the Windows Guest. However it insists on opening Safari for the default browser. I have double/triple/quadruple checked that Chrome is the default, and all URLs from the Mac side open in Chrome. But from the Windows Guest, Safari is always called. Thanks for any suggestions!
