I'm trying to migrate an Acer windows laptop to my MacBook. Transporter is displaying a message saying: "The computer you are trying to migrate contains dynamic or LVM volumes only that cannot be migrated in this version."

I was unaware of the Acer's disk configuration when I purchased it. Can anyone recommend a solution so I can create a VM on my MacBook from the contents of the Acer laptop?

    TIA for any help.

    same problem

I have have the same problem but I'm migrating from a desktop using XP home. If no answer then I will try the other method using a 'portable' usb device but would rather use the network. What are dynamic and LVM volumes?
