I've been unable to upgrade a Vista Enterprise (32-bit) VM to Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit. I get a compatibility error message from the Win7 installer. "These devices might not work properly after the upgrade. Before upgrading, we recommend updating the drivers for these devices. Cancel the upgrade, open Control Panel and search for "update device drivers", or got to the device manufacturer's website to search for updated drivers. - Sound, video and game controllers: Intel(r) 82801AB/BAM AC'97 Audio Controller" Yesterday, the Windows Installer went through the motions of an upgrade installation but stopped and restored the old system. Now, it will not run. I've reinstalled Parallels Tools to no effect. I'm running OS X 10.5.8 on a 24" iMac (mid 2009) and Parallels 5, build 9308.
Hi Clark, I had the same problem and I posted on the forum in another thread but ... no answers Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor alerts me even about the network card interface. I guess somebody will help us with this issue. Regards, Marcello
