    Hi All,

I've been having problems booting to BC, but I can boot into my BC from parallels just fine. If I try to boot into bootcamp, the windows logo doesn't even display, and I just get a black screen. I've managed to Enable Boot logging, so i've posted a copy of that below:

I'm thinking about reinstalling the Bootcamp drivers for XP again (inside of Parallels), or perhaps removing and reinstalling Parallels Tools for Windows. Again, i can only do this through Parallels bootcamp, so i'm a little worried about messing the entire installation up. Perhaps anyone is experiencing the same issue? Originally I had v3094, and when I recognized the issue, I upgraded to 3120. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

When directly booting into BC, have you tried doing an F8 and selecting last known good configuration?

That's not going to work, because I boot into BC with Parallels constantly, so the Last Known Good will always default to that profile. I did an F8, which is how I enabled Boot Logging.

A little more info, I believe the problem started because the host OS (OSx) crashed while I was booted into BC Parallels using a USB HD. The USB HD worked fine up until then, but now I can't get it to open in BC Parallels. It detects it as an external device but won't mount it.

I"m having a similiar but oposit issue. Booting directing into BootCamp works fine. Booting into BootCamp via Parallels ends in a black screen. Doesn't change. It does get by the Windows XP splash screen, then sits at a black screen.

All set, booted into Safe mode and manually installed Parallels Tools. Now everything works fine.
