Continuous requests for upgrade

I'm currently running Parallels Desktop 4.0 for Mac w/build 4.0.3810

Several times a day, I get prompted by Parallels to run the following update: Parallels for Mac version 4.0.3848

Although I choose to install and follow the process, it never seems to complete. I don't get any error messages, the progress box just disappears - then I get prompted within the next half hour to install the same update.

This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. How do you get this to work or turn it off as it is beginning to become annoying. Thanks for your help

I got the same problem. Did you manage to resolve it?

Can anyone out there help. It's really getting annoying and disruptive. Thanks in advance
