    Hi,

I've just bought my first Mac, a MacBook Pro i7. As I really have to use Office 2007 for school, I'm using Parallels for Mac to run Windows XP. I've installed Windows XP via BootCamp and I use this partition to run Parallels VM from.

    Now I've two questions:
Is the follow possible and how do I set it up: When I shutdown my Mac, Parallels always warns me to first shutdown Windows XP but that is pretty annoying, so can't Parallels do this automatically?

Is it possible to put Windows XP shortcuts on my Mac desktop?

I hope you can help me.

    Hi,

Can you please provide your version of PD you currently use? And what type of shortcut you mean? Application shortcuts or documents, tables etc.?

Which version of Windows for MacBook running Snow Leopard

I have successfully installed Parallels 5 for Mac. I haven't yet purchased Windows software. Is XP Professional the best choice? I will only be running Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 for PC.

When I go to price XP, it seems like one has to buy a PC before being allowed to purchase XP.

    Help!
