My Company is changing over to a new remote access technology. I do not know it's name. To connect to the corporate network from home, instead of starting a VPN Client (which works quite well) I now log into a WEB site and click the "Remote Access" button which runs a client app and puts me on work's network.

Under XP in Parallels on an MacBookPro, when the client app runs I get a message telling me the network connection has been lost, which I know hasn't happened. Evidently, the client app is not compatable with XP under parallels.

    Anyone seen this?

Do I need to reconfigure Parallels?

    Greg

    Hi,
you should ask administrators about how this technology is named. Then we will try to investigate and fix this

We have reports about successful use of Juniper. Likely it is some problem with Juniper, for example there are some reports in the Web about issues with Win XP in some versions of Network Connect.

You can try to switch the networking in VM to bridged mode and check whether it helps (note: bridged may not work in some network environments), but the problem seems to be not in Parallels

How does one do that? The only thing I see under preferences:network is connection type: Shared or Host Only.

It appears that you are looking into Parallels Desktop -> Preferences,
meantime this setting can be changed in "Virtual Machine" -> Configuration (or configure.. I don't remember exact name)

    Devices:Network Adapter:Bridge.
The VM is already Bridge, not shared.
Along with "Network Session Terminated" message, I once got: Connection Refused.
