Why such a huge .mem file?

Bug?

I'm fairly certain I saw a post by Andrew @ Parallels on this that said it was a bug and would be fixed - but unable to find the post just now....

Maybe someone from Parallels will start talking to us sometime soon? They've gone very quiet again.

 

Still in the official release of 2.5.

Can we at least get a statement about why this exists, what it's for, and why it can't be turned off? Or, give us an option to turn it off if we want to suffer slower performance, space is too cramped on laptop drives as it is.
