Hi, I've got Parallels installed on my MacBook Pro/OS X 10.5.6. When I started Parallels up today, I got a Mac dialog box asking me "Where is prl_client_app?" with a list of apps to choose from. As for Windows, it seemed to boot up normally so I'm not sure why this is occurring. Any advice?

Hey morwen, I think I just selected Parallels Desktop from the list. Haven't had the dialog show up again.

I don't think the Parallels folks have been around recently.

It's baaaack, but it came up in Onyx, during its rebuild of LauchServices database or of the update of dyld shared cache, I cannot tell which.

prl_client_app is inside Parallels Desktop.app. I don't know why you would get the message though.

I received this prompt when running Onyx as well. I believe it is a result of Onxy not knowing how to close the Parallels Application. When you select Parallels from the list it will then close Parallels and begin its processes.
