Hi, I run Visual Basic 2010 express on parallels, and everytime I bring a file from school home and I try to open up the file it always says that there is an error opening the file, maybe someone has had this problem before, i dont know. Also I was wondering if anyone knows how to make it so when I have parallels open and I drag something from a flash drive onto the windows desktop, it only goes onto the windows desktop, right now it goes onto both desktops. Thanks!
Disable Shared Profile in Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Options -> Sharing so that Windows uses its own desktop instead of your Mac OS X desktop.
yup, thanks that worked, my vb files open correctly now too, i think it had something to do with the file still being zipped on my mac desktop but unzipped on my windows desktop i dont know. It was giving me the same message if i tried to open it on another computer without unzipping it first, but thanks a lot!
