Remote Desktop Connection stopped working, possible after a Parallels upgrade. I keep getting a message on SBS2008 that the username or password is incorrect. However, I can go to Windows XP and login with the exact same username and password. I uninstalled version 6 of the Remote Desktop Client and installed version 7 and no change, I followed MS knowledge base article to configure SBS to make sure that all versions can log in. The user is thinks the problem occurred before the upgrade to the latest version of Parallels so I'm ot sure thqat is the problem. It was working fine for probably over a year and then quit. It does not work either with the internal or external ip address of the server. The security audit on the Windows SBS2008 server did not appear to show any unsuccessful logins but there are some interesting messages that show no username or account name tied to a login attempt, whereas when I log in it clearly shows my info. Any ideas? thanks!

Try enabling "Optimize modifier keys for games" in Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Options -> Advanced.

    Got it working

The fact that I did not see the proper username in the event viewer let me to believe that this was an active directory problem. I read up this a little bit and saw that there was another way to specify the user, user@domain.local. This worked.
