I made a BOO BOO ... I installed the BETA upgrade recently. I was not too happy about it so decided to go back to the original stable version. I tried the uninstaller in the DMG file with no success. Kept saying that Parallels is not installed on this computer. So I manually trashed all the parallels components I can find (maybe this is where I went bad). I downloaded the orignal 1970 build version and now the installer still recognizes the BETA version and will not continue the installer "Cannot Continue - There are no files to install" PLEASE HELP!
Perform a system search for anything containing "parallels" and "Parallels" to make sure you got the right stuff. Delete everything including .plist files and then re-boot the computer and try the install again. DD
Spotlight Search Did that through spotlight already and stil no luck. Is there another way to search for components? Thanks in advance
