    Need HELP with BT installation

I am new to the forums for asking for help, but have been reading quite a bit over the last 2 days. I have a Sprint BB 8130 that I am trying to sync with my Parallels. Since I was unsuccessful at syncing traditionally with USB, I followed posts to sync via BT.

I have Leopard as my mac OS and use Vista Biz for my Windows OS and I have the latest build of Parallels.

I guess I have followed all of the posts from you so far and followed both post #100 under the syncing the BT with a BB and from post #9 from here, Can you Share MAC Bluetooth Connection in Windows.

When it comes to installing the 2 .exe programs off my Leopard DVD, when I double click to install, nothing happens. I have tried everything. I even copied the 2 files to my desktop and where it asks you to run the program, nothing happens again. From the DVD, I do not even get the install message. Am I missing something as I need to get this working and when Vista searches for drivers, it still reports that it cannot find them.

    Thanks.

    Hello all,

Please sorry for the answer delay.

Geert, glad to know you've found the workaround.

Spacemtn28, please try the following to start the drivers installation:

    1. Insert the original Leopard DVD into the DVD drive of the Mac. Connect the disk to the virtual machine by choosing the "Default CD/DVD" drive under the "Devices - DVD rom" menu.

    2. Go to Start -> Run. Type CMD and click OK.

    3. In Windows command interpreter type cd desktop. Press Enter.
    - Type BluetoothInstaller -p. Press Enter.
    - Type BluetoothEnabler -p. Press Enter.

After that go to the step 5.

    Best regards,
    Xenos

Hi spaceman! I had the same issue on doubleclicking and nothing happening when trying to install the drivers. But, In my case it didn't mean I had a problem. Someway, everything was already installed, either before or after double clicking. So, did you try the rest of my workaround already? Geert
