Move VM from Parallels ver 6 to ver 5?

    Hi,

    I've made an Win7 installation on Parallels Desktop version 6, then I tried to move the virtual machine to an other computer with version 5 installed. The VM starts, but after a while it goes BSOD, dumps and reboots.

    Isn't it possible to do what I've tried or do I have do do it in another way?

    Exact same problem here. It was working fine in XP, but now that I bought a new iMac and tried to install Windows with Parallels, all I get are crashes.

    I am down at work for two days becuase of this. Horrible!

    not exactly the same problem, my problem is that I installed WIN7 on parallells 6 on a MacBook and then I try to run that WIN7 installation on Parallels 5 on a MacBook Pro.

    It just hit me that maybe it's the difference in hardware that is the problem? (MacBook vs MacBook pro)
