Uninstall Parallels without the DMG or CD?

Is there a way to remove Parallels without the .dmg? I apparently did not save or burn it anywhere?

One more question - as far as I understand, you have a localized version of the build. But what exact version: German, Italian, French or Spanish?

I'm in the US, so I assume it's English?

 

Anyone have any suggestions? I doubt that just dragging to the trash will uninstall properly.

 

Umm, go and download a trial version of AppZapper... It supposedly will remove everything tied to an OS X application.

You might still have to manually remove the 4x .kext files for the VM engine (mentioned elsewhere in the forum).

I have the same problem, parallels 3 but now I have snow leopard. I have lost my parallels install disk and now want to uninstall. How do I do this? Same method?

I also have deleted my dmg long ago and most parallels folders, and now my mac turns itself off sometimes and I get an error message whenever I start up OS X.

My version is 4.0.3848.450204 and is English. I'd like to just get the uninstaller and say thank you, if that's possible...

uninstall parallels build 4

dont have the dmg anymore. would like to uninstall including all files, preferences, network connections etc.

here are the particulars

Parallels build 4.0.3810 (jan 23, 2009)

running on Mac OSX leopard 10.5.8

i just need the uninstaller, if possible dont want to download the entire dmg.

However, on the link I quote you on, there is no instance of Parallels Desktop for Mac version 4.0 3844, more specifically 4.0.3844.408728.

I'm still looking forward to a reply to my question, because currently there simply is no unstaller for the Parallels product I have installed (after paying for it, obviously).

Please let me know where to find the download I need for uninstalling Parallels Desktop for Mac version 4.0 3844, more specifically 4.0.3844.408728.

The uninstaller doesn't have to be the exact same version down to build number, the uninstaller of 4.0.3848 will work work with 4.0.3844.408728. Just download the dmg of the latest version for each interaction (2.5,3,4,5,6 or 7) which in this case is 4.0.3848.

 

Thanks to both of you for verifying that the next up version's uninstaller should do the work. Unfortunately the link Danil posted didn't work, it just took me to the general download page for all products. But since both of you say that the other one should clean everything out I'll settle on that instead.
