Hello, I've noticed this as a problem with all of the versions of parallels I've used so far. I have a Macbook Pro Core 2 Duo with the newest RC2 parallels. MBpro comes with an internal built-in microphone. I am trying to capture streaming video using snag-it 8.2 in windows but I cannot change my audio input recording to the "stereo mix" option like you normally can with windows... the recording keeps getting picked up from the built in apple microphone. This is a bug. I can't even get the microphone to become active in windows. If I could do that, I think that I could properly change the input recording. Anyone know how to make the internal microphone active in windows?

i dont believe that parallels emulates a full duplex sound card. I was trying to do something just yesterday with stereo mixing. and couldnt make it work. Loopback cable was all that I could do to work around it.
finally got this to work with a ton of trouble shooting - days of putzing in free time. http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=276754
