I installed the new Build 3150 RC 2 onto an iMac Core Duo2 2.16Ghz machine. I installed Windows XP Professional on a disk image (not using Bootcamp), and when I go to run Parallels Tools, it doesn't do anything. For about one second, I see the hour glass, and then nothing. The VM starts up fine and I can use Windows on it, but I can't install the tools, and Coherence isn't working either. Any suggestions or help would be grateful. -Nathan
It seems that CD autorun feature is off in your XP. Could you click on menu "Install Parallels Tools..." and then locate CD in XP explorer and double click on Parallels Tools installation manually.
That fixed it! Thanks. After the tools were installed, then coherence worked too (I thought that might be why it wasn't working in the first place.) Thanks again for your help. -Nathan
