    Hello,
I recentely bought Parallels and installed it on my Mac. After that I took my Windows 7 DVD and created a Virtual Machine on Parallels. It was successfully installed and I used it without problems. The second time I tried to use it I received the message that there was no bootable device, and it didn't boot Windows 7 until I inserted the DVD on the drive. I wanted to know how I can inicialize my virtual machine without the need of having the DVD inserted on the drive.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

It is very strange. Once Vm is installed it does not ask for installation disk any longer. Have you just created a Vm, or you also installed Windows on it?
Go to Virtual Machine Configuration > Hard drive and check it is there.

I reinstalled it and this time I unchecked the "Express Installation" box. It worked perfectly!

    Thanks for the help.
