Unable to move Parallels Machine using Migration Assistant

    Hi all,

    I bought a new 17 inch Macbook Pro and used Migration Assistant to move the data. It worked flawlessly - except it didn't move my virtual machine. It said the file was too large.

    Running Parallels 4.

    Any suggestions?

    Move .pvm file manually

    The .pvm files needs to be moved manually. Allow the old computer to transfer files. Login to the old computer from new computer and move the .pvm files by dragging it over. The .pvm files should be in the user's Library/Parallels folder. My was called winxp.pvm since I was running XP Pro in Parallels.
