I've read many of the posts regarding the Shift Key issue. It just doesn't seem to work. I've tried the Configuration fix and that did not work. The fact is I am running Excel 2007 in Parallels that runs code when the xlsm file opens. You can use the shift key to bypass the code on startup in a regular windows installation but when I try to do this in Parallels nothing. I may very well return Parallels and just use a boot camp installation if they can't figure out what is going on here. I use a macbook (4 years old) with Snow Leopard and Parallels 6 and it's causing me a great deal of headaches. Anybody have a solution that works that doesn't involve LogMeIn or RDP?
And the strange thing is it works fine when using the shift key bypass in Access. For some reason it does not in Excel. I've had issues with it in Windows not working occasionally, but for the most part it functions in Excel 2007 as it has in past versions. Hold shift key down and it prevents any startup code from running. Again, works fine using Access in Parallels, just not Excel. Go figure.
