    Heelo,

I have update parallels to the last release:
    Build 6.0.12092 (Révision 671234; Tue, 28 Jun 2011)
when suggested, and yesterday the parallels tools.

Now copy/paste MacOS to VM ubuntu don't work anymore.
Another side effect is that windows manager go to 'classic' but this is not a bad effect ;-), it is easier for me.

    How to restore copy/paste?

    I have the same problems

I have the same problems in ubuntu 11.04.
No copy and paste from host to guest and unity will not start. Both worked fine before the update.
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS guests are not affected. Everything works fine with these.

    Fixed for me.

Today I installed update to version 6.0.12094. I uninstalled parallels tools in ubuntu (endless loop in first attempt, shut down virtual machine and tried again -> success), installed the tools again and everything works fine now.

    Hi mohdf,
Unity works fine for me. I have two Parallels licenses. On my Macbook (late 2006) it works fine with Lion, on my iMac(2009) I am still running Snow Leopard. Unity did not start with PT 12092 (ubuntu started only classic mode, but this automatically). Since 12094 everything works fine again.
I have seen in another thread that Your problem is a bit different. Unity tries to start, but graphics output is corrupted, right?
Something that sometimes might help with Linux guests is to reinstall PT from terminal. Start the VM and log in into "recovery console" (in unbuntu). Mount the device with the Parallels Tools and change directory (/media/Parallels Tools) and run sudo ./install. Then choose uninstall from the menu. Restart the VM and do the same things again, this time reinstalling the tools.
    Good luck!
