How do you de-activate desktop 5?
When I uninstall and then reinstall, it still remembers my old activation code. If I enter a new activation code and then restart my computer, the old activation code still shows up. I want to be able to use another activation code. How do I do this?

Have you registered a product with the new activation code? You can't just enter a code or set of numbers, Parallels also requires activation, to have the new serial number take effect.

It says that my product is already registered. It won't accept my work registered activation code. It keeps reverting back to my personel registered activation code.

Are you trying to register the same product, Parallels 6 old key Parallels 6 new key on the same machine?
When you uninstall the product you need to restart your machine before reinstalling.

I am not sure you can change product keys for same release of Parallels. I would contact customer support, to see if they will exchange the key for you.

The only other area I can think of is "My Account" Have you tried https://www.parallels.com/account/ can register a key to your account that way. But this will not activate it on your machine, it just let the company know who has the key.

Yes, I'm trying to switch activation keys on version 5. I used my own key at work and now my company has bought there own version and key and I want to switch and start using the company's new activation key on my work computer.
I know Adobe is set up to switch back and forth product activation. Seems silly that Parallels would spend money on activation keys and not have the ability to do anything with them. Unless the idea was to activate the key at start and not care what computer or how many computers the program runs on.
Oh well, thanks for your help.
