I installed Lion but now cannot run Parallels. I am running Windows XP. I get the following error message: "Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware. Please check the windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for more information." Parallels was working great before I installed Lion. I was using the latest version of Snow Leopard until then. I can still reboot my Macbook into Windows and use Boot Camp, but I cannot run Windows side-by-side with Lion in Parallels.
XP bootcamp on Lion. I have XP on my bootcamp which won't start since upgrading to Lion. 24" iMac. Says "Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware..." etc. I also have Win 7 (not bootcamp) which runs fine.
