Should I delete Parallels when deleting a partition and creating a new one?

I had Windows XP in the partition, and everything worked fine with Parallels, but I haven't been able to install Lion (I posted a thread about this some weeks ago, but didn't get any hint about it)

The only solution proposed by Apple is to delete the partition (I'll do that with Bootcamp), install Lion, and then use Bootcamp again to install Windows Vista (which I already have)

My doubt is: Should I delete Parallels when doing this, reinstalling it again later so that everything works fine, or will it detect the new partition and update everything correctly? (I'd really prefer this second option ;-> )

And if I had to delete Parallels, I can install it again without any problem from the DMG I got when I bought it online (and the key that I was given), right?

I'd really appreciate if you could come back to me on this (which I guess that it's really simple) ASAP, as I'd like to work on this tomorrow afternoon (and would really like to know how I could deal with this)

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

I did delete it, installed it again, and it did work!

    Hi warriorfullights,

I finally did what you suggested... I used the Uninstall option from the Paralllels CD, installed it again (after having installed Windows 7 with Bootcamp, after having installed Lion), and it did work!

It has taken me a lot of time with all the updates and so, but now it's working smoothly ;->

(Just in case anybody else is trying the same you and I, and this may help them... ;-> )
