I've successfully connect my iPad with Parallels Desktop running in Macbook. The virtual system is Win Vista. Unfortunately, no sound comes from my ipad when I open a music file. The sound are still from the macbook, rather than iPad. Anyone can guide me how to let Parallels Mobile receive the audio from Parallels Desktop? Thanks

According to documentation in the App Store, sound is only supported with Parallels 7.

I do have Parallels 7, which I installed today. Still, no sound happening. I have tried direct connection and through Parallels Mobile Server. Any ideas?

From Parallels Tools toolbar- click on the speaker icon, select configure and select Built-in output for output. That should work - it did for me :)
