error message: no network adapter on mac for parallels shared 0

after no problem using parallels 5 on snow leopard suddenly i get the message:

there is no network adapter on your mac for the parallels shared 0

nothing has changed, what do i do?

 

Try uninstall from the dmg then reinstall?

 

the good news - after shutting down the computer yesterday to travel, when i arrived at destination and booted up the computer and parallels, it worked. i hope it continues to do so... when i return home, i will upgrade to parallels 7, and hopefully all will remain well at that time. thank you for your reply!
